Join your colleagues and the Risk Management professionals from Arthur J. Gallagher to  discuss Business Continuity and the Disaster Recovery Process.  Attendees will be able to review their plans and develop notes that will allow them to better address the various perils that could result in a business interruption. Interactive discussion will focus on understanding and mitigating the Disaster Cycle, establishing the key resilience links, and effective pre-event planning.

John is a national resource to Gallagher’s education clients focused on providing practical and effective risk management solutions specific to each institution’s environment.  John provides risk management consultation, research, problem solving, and best practices for education clients. John has over 30 years of experience in higher education and insurance. John was the Director of Risk Management for Pepperdine University, a position he held for 16 years.  John has also served on the United Educators Risk Management Advisory Council and the Board of Directors of College Liability Insurance Company (CLIC). Darrow Milgrim, Managing Director of the School & Camp Practice, Arthur J. Gallagher

Darrow is responsible for the oversight and development of the Independent School and Camp Practice at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. He is licensed as both a Property and Casualty Broker and Employee Benefits Broker. Darrow served on the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers Education Committee, has been Director of Camping and Outdoor Education, and taught in the Cal State University System, as well as public and private schools.
