Recently, we were fortunate enough to learn about the new earthquake early warning system available to schools, ShakeLA. Now, on July 25th at 9 AM PST, in conjunction with Joffe Emergency Services, we’re reconvening the experts for a follow-up conversation.

ShakeLA is part of a system developed by the U.S. Geological Survey, and early warning systems will be rolled out statewide. Earthquake Early Warning systems can provide the ability to instantaneously distribute a message to your community when the warning signs of an earthquake are detected.  What can you reasonably expect? How can those moments best be used to sustain your school’s operations after an emergency? If you’d like to view a recording of that webinar, go here!

Register today to learn more about the next steps to take in order to protect your school community and to ask any pressing questions you have about ShakeLA, earthquake protocols, or how your community can be better prepared.

Once you've registered, you'll receive the link to join the conversation.
