    Cal-ISBOA is a statewide, membership association that provides support and solutions to independent school business office professionals throughout California.  The Association is a vibrant, growing community of more than 260 member schools.
    The Member Benefits Coordinator performs a full range of member services, communication tasks, records management, data and administrative activities for the Association. The principal emphasis is on coordinating and collaborating extensively with the Association Director and volunteer management to deliver high value member benefits and professional development programs to the Association’s growing member base.

    This is a part-time (approximately 30 hours/wk), non-exempt, benefits eligible position
    Location: California/statewide/working remotely from home

    We are looking for:
    • An engaged community member who thrives on delivering personal, member service
    • A disciplined, self-motivated team member who can forge community connections while working remotely
    • Independent School experience preferred
    • Minimum 3 years of experience

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Configures and maintains membership records and database.
    • Analyzes membership data and prepares reports to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
    • Provides member support; plans and executes professional development activities and events.
    • Resolves member inquiries and concerns and communicates effectively to coordinate prompt resolution.
    • Implements membership benefits and policies.
    • Tracks revenue received from dues, donations, and other membership transaction and reports on membership revenue trends.
    • Assists with regular reviews of membership dues structure and offerings.
    • In collaboration with the Association Director, organizes membership promotion and marketing strategy and activities.
    • Coordinates membership-related communications across all media, including electronic and direct mail.
    • Maintains and updates membership-related pages and applications on the Cal-ISBOA website.
    • Assists the Association Director in facilitating, expanding, and enhancing the membership services provided by Cal-ISBOA.
    • Assists members, non-members, and institutional administrators with membership processes and transactions
    • .Plans and coordinates annual conference, seminars, workshops and/or board meetings in conjunction with the Association Director and volunteer leadership.  Activities include site selection, registration, participant accommodations, and event planning
    • Performs other related duties as assigned by the Association Director.

    Supervisory Duties: None

    Qualifications:
    •  Bachelor’s degree and minimum 3 years of experience with issues related to K-12 education and/or experience in adult learning events and designing and delivering program content.
    • Detail oriented and outstanding customer service skills.
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
    • Some travel required.
    • Experience in marketing communications preferred.
    • Ability to communicate and interact well with people of all ages and diverse backgrounds.
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
    • Ability to organize, analyze, and interpret data and present results to diverse audiences.
    • Ability to make independent decisions, judgments, and recommendations.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, required.
    • Proficiency with web editing tools and social media is preferred.
