Cal-ISBOA is governed by a Board of Directors composed of leader members from across the state who volunteer their time for the collective benefit of the independent school business community. The Board provides oversight and direction for the organization and commissions nearly a dozen committees and task forces to carry out the important work of the association in close collaboration with the Cal-ISBOA staff. These member volunteers are the heart of Cal-ISBOA, and their contributions are essential to serving our community well.
In addition to committees and task forces, member volunteers serve as regional group liaisons, new member ambassadors, peer mentors, online roundtable hosts, listserv leaders, subject matter experts, and in-person event support. Volunteering is a rewarding way to get engaged in your association and positions you to meet colleagues, deepen your school business knowledge, and enrich your professional experience while giving back to the indy school community and your fellow business officers. There are many ways to get involved, ranging from little to significant time commitment. With every new volunteer, Cal-ISBOA grows more energized, more diverse and inclusive, and better equipped to accomplish its mission. Find out more about Cal-ISBOA Volunteer Opportunities today!
