Middle School Integrated Science Teacher

    The Archer School for Girls is seeking a dynamic Integrated Science Teacher to inspire and educate students in grades 6-8. The ideal candidate will be familiar with Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and inquiry-based teaching and learning. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, a strong understanding of scientific concepts, and a belief in every student’s capacity to learn and grow are essential qualities for this position.

    Responsibilities include:

    ·         Teaching Middle School Science

    ·         Supporting our award-winning Science Fair program

    ·         Serving as a mentor

    Qualifications include:

    ·         Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, master’s degree preferred.

    ·         Prior teaching experience, preferably in middle school or with students of similar age groups.

    ·         Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student collaboration and exploration.

    ·         Experience with OpenSciEd curriculum is a plus.

    Salary range: $69,463 to $120,000 annually (depending on qualifications and experience)
