Middle School Administrative Assistant
Salary range: $26 - $35/hourly
Campbell Hall, founded in 1944 and situated on 14 naturally-wooded acres in Studio City, California, is an independent, all-gender, college preparatory, Episcopal day school for students in kindergarten through grade twelve. The middle school division includes grades 7-8 and is composed of approximately 240 students and 40 full- and part-time faculty and coaches.

Responsibilities include:

Warmly greets parents, students, staff and other visitors to the Middle School office and maintains a positive rapport with all community members.

Provides administrative support, including fielding calls, calendaring, ordering supplies, creating correspondence, coordinating appointments, and check/reimbursement requests for Middle School Principal and Assistant Principal.

Maintains student records, including permanent files, attendance, late/early arrival/departure, and injury reports.

Manages the Middle School calendar in coordination with the overall school calendar including scheduling middle school events, programs, and meetings, and entering information to the all-school calendaring system.

Coordinates with Operations and Facilities teams to organize office repairs.

Plans and coordinates events such as annual celebrations and monthly Division Meetings.

Helps to organize special programs and events, prepares schedules, assesses and arranges physical room needs with operations and technology departments, and arranges for refreshments as needed.

Assists in scheduling and producing master schedules, faculty teaching responsibility charts, secondary school room charts, and internal schedules.

Collects and distributes forms to students such as permission slips for field trips and registration materials.

Other duties include after-hours presentations such as Back to School Night and other school events.

Collaborates with the Middle School Leadership Team for additional needs.

Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Minimum Experience Required: 2+ years of administrative experience in a school environment
