Job Overview:
The Receptionist will often be the first person visitors will interact with and therefore must be welcoming, warm, and friendly to all. This also includes interacting with faculty, parents, students, and assisting both them and visitors with their initial contact and communication. This position will also interact with administrative support teams, executives, vendors, and facilitate communication.
Responsibilities and Duties:these are not written to be all inclusive and not limited to
- Welcome, check-in and check-out guests, students, parents, and vendors.
- Interact with faculty, parents, students and assist with their needs and communication
- Assist with vendors and other outside agencies, personnel, maintenance, and other groups that need check-in, connecting to a dept on campus, and directing them
- General office administrative duties include, but not limited to, data entry, providing reports, and forwarding communications.
- Answer in-coming calls and direct them to appropriate faculty as well as contacting parents, vendors, and other agencies on behalf of school as per duties.
- Review emails, mail, voicemail, and direct to appropriate faculty
- Assess office supply inventory and maintain sufficient quantities for school use
- Assist faculty with other needs and other duties assigned by supervisor
- Attend school chapel on weekly basis
- Attend and assist with school events
- Other related duties assigned by Supervisor

Reports To: Assistant to Head of School and Registrar

Compensation: $28 to $36 per hour DOE
