Job Description
The After School & Summer Programs Coordinator is responsible for providing support to the Director of After School and Summer Programs including administrative support, materials management, data input, and assisting with the daily functions of the departments. In addition, the After School & Summer Programs Coordinator must be able to manage time effectively to make sure the needs of the departments are being met.
After School and Summer Programs Coordinator
● Attends meetings as required by the Director of After School and Summer Programs
● Works with Director to manage staff
● Coordinates Study Hall coverage with Teaching Assistants & ASP Staff
● May assist Director with recruiting activities
● Manages daily schedule and assigns roles to ASP Staff
● Develops and maintains forms that support program development
● Manages supply orders; Coordinates snacks and supplies for ASP & Summer Program
● Works closely with staff to develop safe, fun, creative and engaging activities for children
● Relays observed behavior issues and other concerns as a Mandated Reporter
● Coordinates ASP & Summer attendance, Enrichment Class setup and ensures weekly
logistics are up to date in UltraCamp
● Collaborates between day school and ASP for spaces and logistics; Manages logistics
for conferences, in-services, and Presidents’ Week recess
● Assists with dismissal management using School Pass software
● When Director is not available, may serve as point person for communication with families
● Supervises recess duties, as scheduled
● Other duties as assigned
Essential Requirements:
The ideal candidate has:
● Bachelor’s degree preferred, interest in child development
● Two to three years’ administrative experience; additional experience working with children preferred
● Detail oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
● Excellent oral written and interpersonal communication skills
● Creative and collaborative approach to problem solving
● Flexibility and patience

Schedule and Hours
This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Standard hours are 9:30 am – 6:30 pm Monday – Friday.
Compensation/Benefits
The anticipated salary range the school reasonably expects to pay candidates for the full-time position of Assistant to the Lower School Director is $29-$33/hour depending on factors such as experience and education.
